2026/05/15: Prof. Kuroiwa delivered an invited lecture at the 2026 General Meeting of the Kumamoto Prefecture High School Science Education Association, focusing on research on amphiphilic compounds derived from animals and plants, as well as educational initiatives of the Faculty of Engineering at Sojo University.
2026/05/13: Prof. Kuroiwa gave a presentation on hybrid materials of glycyrrhetinic acid glycosides and magnetic metal complexes at the 75th SPSJ Annual Meeting.
2026/04/26: A collaborative study by Mr. Araki (alumnus) and co-workers on hybrid materials of glycyrrhetinic acid glycosides and magnetic metal complexes, conducted with Prof. Koyama (Toyama Prefectural Univ.) and Prof. Hayami (Kumamoto Univ.), has been accepted for publication in Chem. Eur. J., an international journal published by Wiley.
2026/04/11: Our former student (alumna) Ms. Fujimura, now Representative Partner of the cosmetics company UUBU, has introduced our collaborative research. This work was also presented at the 21st JSKE Spring Conference.
2026/04/02: A collaborative study has been selected for the 2026 Popular Advances collection in Materials Advances, a journal of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
2026/03/19: Ms. Naito (M1) presented her research at the The 106th CSJ Annual Meeting.
2026/03/16: Ms. Naito (M1) presented her research at the 21st JSKE Spring Conference.

2025/12/04: At the 18th Kumamoto Prefectural High School Career Guidance Research Conference, Dean Kuroiwa gave a lecture on the initiatives of our Faculty of Engineering.
2025/11/28: A collaborative research project conducted by Mr. Tanimura (M.S.), in partnership with Dr. Morisue (Kyoto Institute of Technology) and Prof. Hasegawa's group (Hokkaido University), has been published in Langmuir.
